Katherine's carousel

Katherines Carousel is a 22" x 18" piece embroidered onto Legacy Linen using a variety of stitch techniques inlcuding surface, stumpwork and goldwork.

The piece depicts the Carousel of City Park in New Orleans.

This piece was commissioned by Katherine Ascani as a piece for her two daughters.

Soft House Mobile

The Soft House Mobile was a composite piece consisting of six separate miniature houses made of felt and sewn together with cotton thread. Each house contained a small LED light which highlighted a floating window pattern on surrounding walls.

This piece was exhibited at the Off the Walls Gallery in Shelton WA and appears in the private collections of clients around the world.
